It features sustainable elements like energy recovery units, LED lighting, and a radiant heating and snow-melting slab. The 10,648 sq. ft. station includes three bays with bi-fold doors, a workout facility, individual sleeping bunks, a large kitchen, and a day room. It emphasizes safety with an ICC 500 shelter and transitional zones to keep contaminants from living areas. The design balances residential character with functionality, serving as a community beacon.
