Grain Valley Police Headquarters

Grain Valley, Missouri, is rapidly growing. From a population of about 15,000, it's expected to surge to over 20,000 by 2025. This growth spurt presented a challenge: the municipal building opened in 2001 was quickly becoming too small. Despite a setback in 2020 when residents voted against two bond issues for a new facility, the city didn't give up.

In 2021, they issued a new request for proposals, and Hoefer Welker was chosen to help make a new police headquarters a reality. Thanks to collaborative efforts with city and community leaders, a bond election passed in 2022, clearing the path for Hoefer Welker to design the new state-of-the-art police headquarters.
