Lee’s Summit, MO, Joint Operations Facility Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony

The City of Lee's Summit held a groundbreaking ceremony on November 8, 2024, for a new $30.5 million Joint Operations Facility. This 43,600-square-foot facility will serve as a central hub for emergency preparedness and response, housing fire department administration, city emergency operations, a traffic operations center, and a co-located fire and police communication center. Designed by Hoefer Welker and managed by Titan Built, the facility aims to enhance community safety with advanced infrastructure and technology.
