Dallas approves using city land to build community for homeless veterans

The Dallas City Council has approved plans for a new Veterans Community Project (VCP) Village in southern Dallas, creating a supportive housing community for veterans experiencing homelessness. Located across from the Dallas VA Medical Center, the development will include 50 transitional tiny homes and a community center offering on-site support services.

Founded by veterans for veterans, Veterans Community Project provides housing and personalized resources that help veterans transition to permanent housing and long-term stability.

Hoefer Welker is proud to support the project through pro bono conceptual design services, helping advance a mission that serves those who have served our country.
