Baptist Health unveils details of new ER tower

Baptist Health has announced plans for a new four-story, 123,000-square-foot emergency tower on Prudential Drive, located on its main campus in Jacksonville. The $190 million project will feature two distinct emergency rooms—one for adults and one for children—with a total of 100 rooms (63 for adults and 37 for children), including three pediatric trauma rooms.

As proud designers for this project, the facility will also include advanced imaging, laboratory resources, an endoscopy suite, and expanded heart care areas. Construction begins later this year, with phased openings leading to full completion by 2029. Philanthropy will play a key role in funding the project.
