Patricia Moriel may be the youngest intern that Hoefer Welker has ever had! Patricia will be starting her senior year at Irma L. Rangel YWLS this fall and is interested in a career in Architecture!
Part of her internship in our Dallas office includes working with Janeil Engelstad and Make Art with Purpose (MAP) on the design and construction of a “nomad” structure. Lorena Toffer acts as her mentor and established a connection with MAP as a way for Patricia to experience a project from beginning to end and empower her in her journey towards an architecture career, as well as a way to improve outreach of art, literacy, and design across communities in Dallas.
