At Hoefer Welker Architects, we know that people really want to make a difference, but it takes all of us, working together to make real change happen. The week of October 26th-30th HWA participated in our 3rd annual corporate United Way campaign to raise money for United Way. Each year a theme is incorporated to encourage team work around the office. This year’s theme was Movie/Cinema Week. Throughout the week HWA raised $25,000. Go HWA!
Thank you to HWA staff who volunteered at Kansas City American Cancer Society Hope Lodge.
Special thanks to our sponsors: Panera Bread and Velvet Creme Popcorn.

Dividing the office into four teams, each day we dressed up as characters from different movies and participated in fund-raising activities.

On Friday, an “Academy Awards” ceremony was held to recognize participation and award those that raised the most money.
