Hoefer Welker Architecture participated in the International Interior Design Association’s (IIDA) 2010 Color+Couture Fashion Show. The competition consisted of 20 teams, and each team was assigned a material in which they had to use to construct their outfit.
The teams choose the decade they wanted to represent, as well as a model from their firm. HWA was assigned plastic laminate and teamed with Wilsonart, who supplied the materials. Sarah Boedeker was our model who pulled off our sixties-themed outfit with some sassiness and style.
Our team received 2 awards – Integration of Finish + Fashion Award and the People’s Choice Award! Amy Vittorino, Alicia Roberts, Sara Cramer and Kim Crane designed and constructed our award-winning outfit. Great work ladies!
