This year, our firm participated in two Adopt-a-Family programs for Christmas, and we were able to help two local families in need. Our families were adopted through Operation Breakthrough and the Guadalupe Center. Operation Breakthrough provides for low-income families in KC, most of which are single-parent families headed by working women. The Guadalupe Center focuses on improving the quality of life for Kansas City Latino communities.
This is the fifth year in a row that Hoefer Welker has participated in an Adopt-A-Family program. Each year, our goal is to provide every gift on the wish lists, a gift card for the parent (s), and a gift card for a holiday meal for the family.
We are proud to report that once again, we were able to meet our goals this holiday season. Although the families must remain confidential, we hope that they have a great Christmas morning and are sending lots of holiday cheer their way.
