The McKinney Planning and Zoning Commission approved a site plan Tuesday night for Wheelhouse, a new restaurant located at the southwest corner of US 380 and Hardin Boulevard.
The nearly 6,000-square-foot restaurant will include four overhead doors between the main dining area and an outdoor patio, which will face US 380.
“We believe the north elevation of the restaurant (facing [US] 380) should be the most engaging of the elevations,” according to a letter of intent submitted to the city of McKinney. “… In order to create the connection between interior and exterior—a concept paramount to the Wheelhouse brand—we have included [four]glass overhead doors.”
