By June, Hoefer Welker plans to relocate its headquarters to a 26,229-square-foot office that takes the entire 14th floor in Block Real Estate Services LLC’s 46 Penn Centre tower at 4622 Pennsylvania Ave.
The space will include a kitchen, two cafés, a terrace, a design lab, multiple studio collaborative areas focused on maximizing creativity and innovation, and conferencing areas that provides focus rooms and quiet zones.
CEO Mitch Hoefer and President Rob Welker found it appealing to return to a space the firm designed and occupy a one-floor concept after spending many years divided on two floors at the Pinnacle Corporate Campus in Leawood.
46 Penn Centre was a better fit in terms of timing and where the firm is today, as well as where it’s heading in the future, Welker said.
