The Lux Senior Living in suburban Kansas City is an upcoming amenity-rich development project combining three independent apartment buildings on top of a single garage podium. The Lux has more space for residents to gather than a traditional apartment complex.

The development incorporates significant natural light with large, open windows. Designed for active adults 55 and older, The Lux keeps luxury top-of-mind with high ceilings, high-end finishes, contemporary aesthetics, and expanded amenities typically found in top coastal markets, such as a pool and lounge area, yoga studio, and sauna.

 

Hoefer Welker’s client wanted the look and feel of pure luxury, but in a subtle way. Designers chose an all-white façade that feels comfortable, not cold. It’s a look that fits perfectly into the suburban dynamic of Overland Park, Kansas.
