The VA Mobile Community-Based Outpatient Clinic provides a welcoming, patient-centered healthcare environment for Veterans throughout the Gulf Coast region. Spanning 86,000 square feet across two stories, the facility offers comprehensive outpatient services, including primary care, women's health, behavioral health, specialty care, and telehealth. Intuitive wayfinding, integrated technology, and connections to nature create a comfortable, healing environment that supports both patient well-being and staff efficiency.

Inspired by the traditional homes and architecture of the Gulf Coast, the clinic incorporates familiar Southern design elements to create a welcoming atmosphere. Tall stone columns and a covered drop-off area provide a grand yet approachable entrance, while red brick, stone detailing, and a metal roof reflect the region's architectural style. Large windows bring natural light into the building, creating a bright, comfortable environment for patients and staff.

Native Southern Alabama landscaping further connects the facility to its surroundings. Achieving LEED Gold certification, the project demonstrates a commitment to sustainability while creating a lasting healthcare destination that honors those who have served.
