When Hoefer Welker launched an in-house mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering unit this year, the firm chose Kirchhofer to oversee it. The unit’s first project is Aspiria in Overland Park, a major redevelopment of the former Sprint campus — and Hoefer Welker’s future home.
Elise brings more than 20 years of experience in mechanical systems design and project leadership to complex projects in the healthcare, education, and commercial sectors. In addition to expertise in project management and sustainable design, Elise has worked as an Owner’s Representative. This experience lends valuable insight into efficiencies that benefit clients and colleagues alike. In addition to serving as vice president of a national engineering firm, Elise has held leadership roles in a nationally-ranked commercial real estate firm and a regional general contractor, further enhancing her operational acumen. She is a member of the Women Who Mean Business class of 2016.
