Developers submit two-thirds of 16th and Broadway master plan near Kauffman Center

Plans have been submitted for two towers within the proposed 16th and Broadway development near Kansas City’s Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Designed by Hoefer Welker, the plans include a 29-story residential tower with 386 apartments and a 15-story hotel with 282 guest rooms.

The submission marks another step forward for the broader three-tower master plan, led by EPC Real Estate Group, Dan Carr and VeLa Development Partners. The proposed development would bring new housing, hospitality and dining opportunities to the Crossroads neighborhood.
