Rowlett holds groundbreaking celebration for future municipal complex

The City of Rowlett, Texas, celebrated the groundbreaking of its future Municipal Complex on April 26 at Herfurth Park. This significant project, funded by a 2023 voter-approved bond, will consolidate key city services, including City Hall, police and fire administration, courts, a jail, an animal shelter, and community park space, into a modern campus.

The event featured community festivities like food trucks, face painting, and giveaways. Officials and project partners, including Hoefer Welker and Swinerton, emphasized the complex's role as a long-term investment in civic pride and service. It marks the largest capital investment in Rowlett's history.
