Hoefer Welker is committed to the health and well-being of our clients, our associates, and the communities we serve. In response to guidance from the CDC and directives from state and local officials, we have enacted our business continuity plan to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Like many companies across the U.S., we have suspended on-site operations at our offices in Leawood, Kansas and in Dallas, Texas until further notice. During this time, our associates are working from home offices with secure network access. We are each available during business hours and beyond to ensure all services to our clients continue uninterrupted.
We’ve always embraced a collaborative approach to our work. Our associates have partnered with clients across the U.S. to successfully complete hundreds of mission-critical projects. Our IT infrastructure, which has been in place for more than two decades, is continually upgraded to harness the latest advances in technology to securely facilitate remote work and accelerate production capacity. Our current configuration includes secure and robust network connectivity, secure cloud-based file storage and sharing utilities, VoIP, Skype with full audio and video capabilities, and Teams for real-time, intra-team project communications. Each of our associates is available by phone, text and email from any geographic location.
We know this unprecedented and uncertain situation has caused hardship for many of our clients, their associates and their families. Please know that we remain committed to you and your organization’s success and well-being — if there are additional ways we can assist you, please let us know.
We are grateful for your continued trust and remain hopeful that through our collaborative, collective, and community-driven efforts, we will overcome these current challenges.
All my best,
Mitch Hoefer, AIA, NCARB
