The official ground breaking to begin the construction of the Olathe Police Building Expansion took place on February 27, 2009. The expansion will take the existing building from a 2-story to a 3-story building, among other improvements. It will total 42,000 SF of new space and 32,000 SF of remodel to be completed in 3 phases. Previous phases of this project included a 21,000 SF Courts Building and 18,000 SF Fire Administration Building.
