The AIA Kansas City Carpenter Camp is holding it’s 3rd event on Tuesday, March 16th. The primary goal of the camp is for young architects to learn real life experiences from carpenters and instructors. Every 2 weeks a new topic will be introduced; for example concrete forms, rough framing, carpets and welding. The event is free and is hands on training. Every session is 3 hours and can be used as training units in the site observation category for your IDP. Hosam Habib of HWA played the key role in starting this year-around event. If you are interested please email Hosam at hosam.habib@hwa.net or visit AIA Kansas City’s event page.
