Yony Cohen returns to Hoefer Welker after an eight year hiatus while working in Israel, where he has lived most of his life. With a degree from the University of Kansas, he is also a licensed architect and a LEED accredited professional in Israel. Yony was one of the first five employees when Hoefer Welker opened our doors in 1996. We’re excited to have him back!
James Evrard, Associate AIA, joins our architecture department. With a B.A. degrees from Kansas State University and the University of Missouri – Kansas City, he has also studied architecture in Italy and has participated in competitions centered in the U.S., Europe and Asia. James is a founding member of Architecture for Humanity in Rhode Island, where many of his projects are located, but is excited to be back in Kansas City. We are excited to have him join our team!
Ryan Falk joins the Hoefer Welker team as an Intern Architect. He is currently attending the University of Kansas and completing a health and wellness internship through the university’s program. Originally from Onaga, Kansas, Ryan enjoys camping, hiking and fishing. We’re excited to have him join the team!
Amanda Connor joins our interiors department as an Interior Designer. She is a recent graduate from Kansas State University, where she followed in her dad’s footsteps through the Interior Architecture and Product Design program to receive her masters. She was born and raised to be a diehard Cats fan and we’re excited to have her!
Stephani Chaffin joins our interiors department as an Interior Designer. She is from Olathe, Kansas and is a recent graduate from Kansas State University receiving her Masters of Interior Architecture and Product Design. Stephani is currently busy planning her upcoming August wedding. We’re excited to have her part of the team!
Bryce Cummings joins the Hoefer Welker team as an Intern Architect. He recently graduated from Kansas State University with a Masters of Architecture. His studies included a semester-long study abroad in Orvieto, Italy. Bryce joins us with professional construction experience gained through a previous internship in Colorado, his home state. Welcome Bryce!
Kathy Kim joins our team as an Intern Architect. She is a recent graduate with a Masters of Architecture from the University of Kansas and received a graduate certificate in health and wellness. Kathy is from St. Louis and joins us with previous work experience in Dallas, Texas. She enjoys hiking, volleyball and traveling. Help us welcome her to the team!
Megan Thurlow joins our marketing department this summer as an intern, focusing on providing graphic design support for our promotional materials. She is currently attending Kansas State University pursuing a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Business. Megan is from Chapman, Kansas and is a Pi Beta Phi alumni. We’re excited to have her on the team so she can show off her photography skills!
