The JE Dunn + Hoefer Welker Integrated Design-Build Team has been awarded a series of seven separate medical projects at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
These new projects will aid in Lackland’s transition into their new state-of-the-art medical clinic and reflect the mission of the 59th Medical Wing, which is to optimize readiness and patient-centered care through collaborative health delivery, education, training, and research.
The old building is scheduled to be demolished next month, so all the projects are on an integrated design and construction process to fast-track their completion. Six of the seven projects will be completed by December 2016 with the final to be completed by December 2017.
