16th and Broadway master plan tops $430M as luxury hotel, offices join apartment tower

The 16th & Broadway development is a multi-phase mixed-use project redefining a key gateway between Downtown Kansas City, the Crossroads, and the Westside. Hoefer Welker is leading the design of the development, beginning with a 33-story residential tower delivering nearly 400 units with integrated parking, amenities, and street-level activation. Recent updates to the master plan expand the vision to include a luxury hotel and office components, elevating the overall project to more than $430 million and positioning it as a significant addition to Kansas City’s evolving skyline.
