Hoefer Welker Architects is the 2011 Honor Award winner in Concept Design given by the United States Air Force (USAF) for the MacKown Dental Clinic project. This project will be a complete replacement of the MacKown Dental Clinic at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. The 55,617 GSF facility will provide for dental care, dental laboratory capabilities, support spaces and graduate education programs. The entire facility is on track to exceed LEED Gold certification and is planned to be construction complete in the first quarter of 2012.
