CommonSpirit Health CHI Memorial Replacement Hospital is a 134,000-square-foot facility located in Catoosa County, Georgia designed to deliver comprehensive, high-quality care in a patient-centered environment. The hospital brings together a full range of services in a clear, efficient layout that supports both patient experience and clinical operations.
At the core of the project is a two-story bed tower with 64 inpatient beds, including a critical care unit with 8 ICU rooms and 7 adaptable spaces that can flex to meet changing patient needs. The facility also includes a full-service emergency department, advanced imaging (X-ray, CT, and MRI), and a surgical suite with 5 operating rooms, 2 endoscopy suites, 8 PACU bays, and 11 pre-operative spaces. Supporting services such as central sterile, laboratory, pharmacy, and materials management are integrated to ensure efficient workflows and reliable care delivery.
The design prioritizes clarity, comfort, and connection to the surrounding campus. A welcoming main lobby overlooks an outdoor courtyard, creating a calming arrival experience for patients and visitors. The site is organized with 530 parking spaces, clearly defined public and emergency entrances, and efficient service access. Outdoor gathering areas and connections to adjacent medical facilities further support a cohesive healthcare environment.
