Texas Christian University is in the middle of its first major off-campus development, thanks to a partnership between Leawood, Kansas-based Hoefer Welker, Fort Worth’s Dunaway and Los Angeles’ CO Architects.

The 95,000-square-foot building for TCU’s newly named [Anne Burnett Marion](https://www.bizjournals.com/dallas/search/results?q=Anne%20Burnett%20Marion) School of Medicine is expected to house the hundreds of faculty and staff that will work with 240 students to build a new generation of medical talent and clinical expertise.

With access to training and experience from Fort Worth’s Medical Innovation District, the Burnett School of Medicine facility also will be adjacent some of the county’s major hospitals, dozens of independent medical clinics and downtown Fort Worth.
